Injured/unavailable: Rasmus Bengtsson (knee), Hugo Andersson (unknown)
MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW
AIK Solna bounced back after their collapse against Norrkoping in league action by beating Hammarby away in the first Stockholm derby of the season. Of course, the derby was played in an empty stadium which surely helped the visitors. AIK Solna has gone for a more youthful approach this season and against Hamamrby three players born 2002 started the game. Robin Tihi, Paulos Abraham and Tom Strannegard all look set for a bright future and manager Rikard Norling are giving them huge responsibility already.
Malmo only managed a draw against newly promoted Varberg last week. They secured a point after Isaac Kiese Thelin scored in the 83rd minute despite the team playing with ten men after captain Anders Christiansen was sent off for a nasty foul. New manager Jon Dahl Tomasson has things to work on. The team is undefeated but they have drawn their last two games.
This is together with Hammarby the two best sides in the league on paper. They have a habit of sharing the points in recent years and a draw looks likely.
SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW
Only one of the last ten league games between these two teams have seen more than 2.5 goals scored. A total of 14 goals have been scored in those 10 league games. Three of the games have been goalless.
HEAD TO HEAD:
Six of the last ten league games between AIK Solna and Malmo have been draws.
