Match Time:8/2/2020 02:30 Sunday（GMT+8）
Brann’s only injury doubt is goalkeeper Ali Ahamada, but the club has no suspensions ahead of this game.
Valerenga are injury and suspension free ahead of this match.
Injured/unavailable: Ali Ahamada (ankle)
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Brann’s last outing was a tough away match against Stromsgodset – it was a game that they lost 3-1. In games played in Bergen, Brann have been a little disappointing of late, drawing their last two games there 1-1 (against Start and Kristiansund respectively). Last season, Brann finished in 9th position in the Eliteserien table, after 11 games this year, they occupy 8th, but their current placing might be their absolute limit come the end of this season.
Valerenga played away against Molde in round 11, a game they lost 4-1. This fixture against Brann in Bergen is another away match that they will find tough; however, three draws from their last three visits (1-1, 0-0, 0-0) will certainly give them confidence. Valerenga look like a very different club from last season, there is a renewed belief and energy around the Intility Arena, new boss Dag-Eilev Fagermo has made an incredible difference to the whole ethos at the club and who knows what they could achieve this season.
After two successive home points, Brann are overdue a victory in Bergen; meanwhile, Valerenga might struggle to break down a sturdy home defence (Brann have conceded just five goals in five games at home this season). I will predict a home win in this fixture.
HEAD TO HEAD
This match in Bergen finished in a 1-1 draw last season; while the game in Oslo was a 1-0 win to Valerenga. The Oslo club haven’t won away against Brann after 2014.
