Suspended: Milos Pantovic

MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Hannover struggled to break through Aue’s stubbornly compact defending, losing 2-1 Sunday. Marvin Duksch did manage to score his seventh goal in the eight matches since 2. Bundesliga play resumed, but Ducksch’s 13th goal of the season was enough only to halve their deficit with just over ten minutes left to play.
Bochum conceded a 79th-minute equalizer to visiting Greuther Furth, but was able to get a result that extended their unbeaten run to eleven matches. It was the first time Thomas Reis’ crew conceded multiple goals in a match since a matchday 24. Reis said his team came out a little flat against Greuther Furth, leading to the 1-0 for the visitors in just the seventh minute. Bochum scored shortly before and shortly after the halftime break, but couldn’t hold onto the lead, which would have given them four-consecutive wins at home.
Hannover have won four of their last five at home, outscoring opponents 13-3. Bochum’s run has been impressive, but don’t expect the defensive intensity to travel well with nothing on the line in this match. Take the home team to end the visitors’ streak.
SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE - HANNOVER
Hannover’s attack has been impressive at home in recent weeks. Bochum has won their last two away, but had gone without a goal in the three road trips before that. Expect Hannover to take control early in this one.
Bochum took the December meeting of these clubs, 2-1, on their own pitch. In eleven second-division fixtures between them, the visitor has never won.
