Match Time: 6/28/2020 23:59 Sunday (GMT+8)
Mjondalen have a clean bill of health ahead of welcoming Kristiansund.
Kristiansund are without goalkeeper Sean McDermot and top scorer Amahl Pellegino ahead of this game.
Injured/unavailable: Sean McDermot (unspecified), Amahl Pellegino (knee)
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Mjondalen drew 1-1 with Viking in Stavanger in their last league game. Shuaibu Lalle Ibrahim found the net for Mjondalen in that match and in the process made it back to back goals in games. It wasn’t an encounter that Mjondalen dominated but they did have their chances especially on the counter. The club have now kept a clean sheet in two of their first three games of 2020 and are also yet to concede from open play.
Kristiansund took the lead against Haugesund in their round three match courtesy of Amin Asker, but the home side fought back and scored a goal in each half to take a 2-1 lead. Shortly after Haugesund’s second goal, Christophe Psyche popped up with an equaliser and the match went on to finish 2-2. Like Mjondalen, Kristiansund are unbeaten this season going into this match and that makes this encounter a fascinating one.
Mjondalen will be a tough team to break down especially at home, but despite the difficulaties the visitors might face, I think Kristiansund have the firepower to score goals. I will predict an away win.
SECOND PREDICTION: TOTAL GOALS – SIX
Kristiansund have been free scoring of late, including a 7-2 home win over Aalesund in round two and a 2-2 draw with Haugesund in round three, so I will predict a game full of goals.
HEAD TO HEAD
This fixture finished in a 1-1 draw last season; while the game in Krinstiansund ended in an emphatic 4-0 victory for the hosts.
