With Nagoya Grampus having two players test positive for Corona Virus they are in quarantine, while Hiroyuki Abe has a knee injury being diagnosed. Aria Jasuru Hasegawa is still out with a broken leg.

Kashiwa Reysol have no injury problems.

Kashiwa Reysol

Suspended: None

Nagoya Grampus' game with Sanfrecce Hiroshima was postponed last weekend due to an outbreak of Covid-19 in the camp. The J.League have stated that if a team has enough players, including one fit goalkeeper to start a game then there will be no Covid-19 postponement, so, as of Thursday morning this game is on.

Kashiwa Reysol exploded again to add five goals to their tally against Vegalta Sendai – including a hat trick for Olunga last weekend in J1. The other goals in their 5-1 home win came from Hayato Nakama and Yusuke Segawa. They have Olunga in fine form and players on the bench coming in and scoring goals, also. Whatever was happening behind the scenes with goalkeeper Kosuke Nakamura seems fixed as he has played in the last few games, keeping Korean international Kim Seung-gyu on the bench.

While Nagoya Grampus may be under the weather and have some players out with the virus, and others hesitant to play, or even train with others, things would suggest that they would be at a disadvantage, at least psychologically, but with Kashiwa Reysol asking for the game to be called off, they may be reluctant to give their all, and may even not risk their better players in this game. It is going to be very difficult to call. I will go for the away win as Nagoya Grampus will be affected physically and mentally by the situation, while Kashiwa Reysol are in form and even if they send a lesser squad, these will be players looking to impress, An away win expected.

The last time these two teams met was in J1 in 2018 when each team won their away game.
