MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Their game at Kawasaki Frontale last weekend in the league was 0-0 at half time before Shonan Bellmare went ahead courtesy of a Tarik goal in the 57th minute. The hosts them proceeded to score three goals and the away team lost 3-1. With just one win in the league this season – a surprise 1-0 victory over Kashima Antlers – Shonan Bellmare look as if they are going to struggle in 2020.
Cerezo Osaka came from behind through a Tatsuhiro Sakamoto goal to earn a 1-1 draw at Sagan Tosu last weekend in the league. It was the second draw in a row for the Osaka team who had won four out of five before these last two games. Interestingly, though, they are unbeaten away from home with two wins and a draw and Tatsuhiro Sakamoto is shaping up to be a very important player for them this season.
Cerezo Osaka should be able to continue their decent away form, and excellent defending to win this one.
HEAD TO HEAD
In league matches between these two teams last season Cerezo Osaka won both games.
