Match Time: 6/28/2020 17:00 Sunday (GMT+8)
Ulsan Hyundai have no players injured or suspended for this game. Lee Chungyong who has been out for last two games with a sprained knee, is reportedly ready to come back.
With a return of striker Lee Donggook to the squad, Jeonbuk Motors have their major players available for this clash. Their summer signing defensive midfielder Shin Hyungmin will be expected to start.
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
High flying Ulsan Hyundai are relishing their finest start to 2020 campaign with unbeaten records this season after adding three points to their tallies in Seoul away game. They constantly dominated the game and looked cool and determined for three points. The deadlock was broken after Seoul were down to 10 man when Bjorn Johnsen headed his side the lead halfway through the second half. Before the final whistle, Ulsan killed off the game when league top scorer Junior Negrao got his ninth of the season with tap-in on a corner.
Jeonbuk Motors dramatically snatched the three points at home after they were held scoreless until substitute Han Kyowon scored the winner in late second half and stay atop in the table by a point above Ulsan Hyundai. Although Jeonbuk have been in winning ways for last four games, however, what they show in attacking are not entirely acceptable for the league leader. It will be a boost for them to have Lee Donggook and Shin Hyungmin back in this game.
The two sides, in contention for the title, will clash each other for the first time this season and the result of the game will be massive for both sides. The hosts Ulsan look ruthless and well-balanced with four straight wins in a row while they haven’t conceded a single goal yet. Meanwhile the visitors Jeonbuk somehow managed to get the result, but their attacking ability has still room to grow further. In recent three games, Jeonbuk appeared to have some difficulties in breaking the defence on open play. I think Ulsan will be the favourite to win provided their current forms.
SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE – Ulsan Hyundai
This season, Ulsan scored first five times out of eight games, while Jeonbuk Motors scored first six times, but the margin is almost negligible. Also, Ulsan have been keeping a clean sheet in their recent four games, which suggests that Ulasn will likely to score first.
HEAD TO HEAD
In recent six league meetings, Ulsan are behind Jeonbuk with only one win compared to Jeonbuk’s two wins. Last season when they were competing for the title very closely, they were equal in the record with one win each and two draws in four meetings.
