Match Time:8/1/2020 18:00 Saturday（GMT+8）
Urawa Reds have no injuries to report.
Hideki Ishige is still out for Shimizu S-Pulse.
Injured/Unavailable: Hideki Ishige (hamstring)
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Leonardo and Ewerton scored as Urawa Reds won 2-0 at FC Yokohama last weekend in the league. They seemed to get back on course after two defeats, six goals conceded and none scored. After starting the season with three wins and a draw, they dipped badly but had enough to win again last weekend. Having said that FC Yokohama are not the best team in the league, but any win will help Urawa Reds regain confidence and Leonardo getting on the scoresheet again will help the team up front, for sure.
Shimizu S-Pulse finally won a match, as predicted last weekend in the league, going out to a 4-0 lead before conceding two very late goals to end the game against Oita Trinita with a 4-2 scoreline. Goals came from Hwang Seok-ho, Carlinhos Junior, Yugo Tatsuta and Valdo, from three corners and a free kick, and some terrible defending by the opposition! While a win is good for the confidence however it comes, and four goals is a great haul, it is noticeable that none of Shimizu S-Pulse's goals came from open play. That is one aspect of their game that they must continue to work on.
Two teams who hot wins last weekend, but not in the most convincing fashion. I suspect that Urawa Reds will take their experience, home advantage and the fact that Shimizu S-Pulse are still working on their systems, to take the home win.
HEAD TO HEAD
In league matches between these two teams last season Urawa Reds won both games.
