Match Time:8/2/2020 17:00 Sunday（GMT+8）

PREDICTION: HOME WIN
An early goal from Yuhei Tokunaga and then a late winner from Shunya Yoneda gave V-Varen Nagasaki a 2-1 away win at Renofa Yamaguchi on Wednesday night in J2. That result makes seven wins from eight games as Makoto Teguramori's squad plays efficient football with little risk, aiming for maximum points. They have scored just 13 goals in their eight games, but have conceded only five. They have not scored more than two in a game, and have not conceded more than one in any match. It should be noted that they have only three clean sheets, despite their good form and results.
Tokyo Verdy took a 79th minute lead through Shohei Takahashi but still ended the game 1-1, hosting Albirex Niigata on Wednesday night in J2. Their season has improved in the last four games, with two wins and two draws (compared to their opening games of two draws, two losses), but they are still struggling to form a team that knows each other well. I expect a brighter future, late season or next, as they are concentrating on bringing younger players into the squad and not relying on the aging forwards like Yoshito Okubo and Leandro. As I have noted before, with no relegation, this seems to be a good long-term plan.
I see nothing but a V-Varen Nagasaki win here on current form, squads and a 100% home record.
HEAD TO HEAD
In J2 matches between these two teams last season each team won their home game.
