Match Time:7/1/2020 02:45 Wednesday（GMT+8）
Wigan are to be without winger Gary Roberts and centre-back Cheyenne Dunkley on Tuesday night.
Stoke are once again set to be without Joe Allen while centre-back Ryan Shawcross remains a doubt. Nick Powell is now suspended after he was sent off on the weekend.
Doubtful: Gary Roberts (hamstring)
Injured/Unavailable: Cheyenne Dunkley (broken leg)
Suspended: Nick Powell
Doubtful: Ryan Shawcross (muscle)
Injured/Unavailable: Joe Allen (Achilles)
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Two late goals helped Wigan claim all three points against a promotion chasing Blackburn side on the weekend as they extended their unbeaten run to eight league games. Paul Cook’s men are now five points clear of the relegation zone and haven’t conceded a goal in their last six league outings ahead of the visit of Stoke.
Stoke carved out plenty of chances but failed to find the net as they lost 2-0 at home to fellow strugglers Middlesbrough in Neil Warnock’s first game in charge of the Teesside club. Michael O’Neill’s men are now without a win in their last five away league games and are just one point clear of the relegation zone.
Stoke looked shaky against Middlesbrough on the weekend and will likely struggle again here.
SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE – WIGAN
Wigan may have taken until the 80th minute to open the scoring against Blackburn but I expect them to do so again here against a Stoke side who were beaten 2-0 on the weekend. Paul Cook’s men look rock solid at the back, keeping six consecutive clean sheets.
HEAD TO HEAD
Stoke have won back-to-back games against Wigan in all competitions.
